At House of Fine Carpentry, our goal is to provide you with high-quality custom cabinetry, kitchens, trim, moulding, columns, fireplace mantles and more, manufactured right here in Ottawa.

We also believe in providing excellent service. From consultation to design, project management and installation, we provide the expertise that is required to deliver on time, every time.

Benefits of Working with House of Fine Carpentry

Design

Our designers work above our shop floor. This means that we have complete control over the whole process of designing and manufacturing of custom cabinetry, kitchens, trim, moulding, columns, fireplace mantles and more. Since we use the latest in design software, we can not only provide complete room layouts, we can produce full colour 3D images that allow you to see how the completed project will look.

Manufacturing

Our experienced craftsmen guarantee the highest quality construction using the best materials and latest manufacturing equipement. Other manufacturers make everything in volume at one time when we prefer to focus on achieving a level of detail only available when everything is manufactured to your exact specifications. We don’t use fillers or spacers to make cabinets fit into place and we pay absolute attention to detail.

Installation

From our project managers to experienced installers, we pay absolute attention to detail. Our fast and efficient installers are well known for being respectful, clean and working diligently to complete your project on time

Our History

Paul St-Germain started designing and building furniture while in his early teens. While in high school he would win numerous awards for designing and building custom AV cabinetry.

2004

Paul follows his dream and leaves a 16 year career in the electronics industry. He would go on to open House of Fine Carpentry. Designing and building custom cabinetry and paneling solutions for likes of the Versace Corporation in New York City and others locally, he would quickly establish himself as a high quality innovative craftsman in the industry.

2007

Paul expands into the manufacturing of a full line of custom columns and coffered ceiling solutions.

2013

The House of Fine Carpentry moves into its current space which includes offices, a design centre and state of the art manufacturing services.

2015

The House of Fine Carpentry launches CABIFY CABINETRY^TM, a line of kitchen and built-in cabinets to better serve our growing number of customers seeking custom solutions for their homes.
